Rocker Retainers reduce the risk of the rocker failure FA and FB engines are known for. These lower-cost upgrades are what we'd look at next on an FA20 or FA24.

Adding a turbo or supercharger?

If you're going forced induction and you're willing to pull the engine down, forged pistons and billet connecting rods are worth considering.

What breaks after the rockers?

On a big over-rev, the connecting rods are the next weakest link. On a naturally aspirated FA20, a rod failure is unlikely.
