Denstoj Rocker Retainers is a family owned automotive company in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. We make reliability-focused performance parts for enthusiast cars, starting with Rocker Retainer kits for engines with floating rocker arms, and ship them worldwide.

Our motto is Push the limit. Not past it. The most fun car is the one that works, on the track, on the street and all the way home.

Is Denstoj Rocker Retainers the same company as Denstoj Auto Centre?

Yes. Denstoj Rocker Retainers grew out of Denstoj Auto Centre, our workshop in Carrington, Newcastle, family owned and operated since 1999. Owner Dennis has been a mechanic since the 1970s.

Our Rocker Retainers started on the race track. While supporting a customer's Toyota 86 in the Australian Toyota 86 Racing Series, we dealt with engine failures from dropped rockers before working out what was going on, so we engineered a fix. We've been running our Rocker Retainers since 2019, on everything from daily drivers to race cars.
