Toyota GR Yaris/GR Corolla (G16E-GTS)

Hydraulic and solid lifter kits for the G16E-GTS: fitment, camshafts, valve springs and installation.

Why does the G16E-GTS need Rocker Retainers?

The GR Yaris and GR Corolla run floating rockers held in place only by valve spring pressure. Our retainers are designed to catch the rocker if that pressure is lost for a split second.

Which GR Yaris and GR Corolla models do the G16E-GTS kits fit?

Both G16E-GTS kits fit the Toyota GR Yaris (XP210, 2020 on) and GR Corolla (GZEA14, 2022 on). The hydraulic kit is a drop-in replacement for factory lash adjusters 13750-70020.

G16E-GTS: hydraulic lash adjusters or solid lifters?

Hydraulic lash adjusters suit stock and mildly tuned GR Yaris and GR Corolla engines. Solid lifters are for high-RPM, 500+ hp builds and need a solid lifter camshaft and machine shop setup.

Which camshaft and valve springs should I run on my G16E-GTS?

Match the cam to your lifters. Kelford 267-A suits hydraulic lash adjusters. S267-A and S267-B are solid lifter cams. All three need the Kelford KVS264 spring kit. Email sales@ to order.

How do I install the G16E-GTS kit?

The engine stays in the car. Drop the timing, remove the camshafts, soak the lash adjusters in clean engine oil for 30-60 minutes, and allow 4 to 6 hours. No shimming is needed.
